Talwinder Anant

Hola! I am Talwinder Kaur Anant (Tello), a professional children’s book illustrator with a proven track record of bringing over 10 published picture books to life. Based in India, I combine the warmth of traditional paper-and-pencil sketching with the versatility of digital mediums to create whimsical, emotionally resonant worlds for young readers.

My artistic strength lies in creating strong character consistency, expressive facial emotions, and rich, atmospheric backgrounds with cinematic lighting. I specialize in visual storytelling that seamlessly integrates with book typography, ensuring a perfect layout for publishers and indie authors alike.

Dedicated to continuous learning and cross-cultural exploration, I love collaborating on diverse, heartwarming stories targeting ages 0-12 (including Board Books, Picture Books, and Middle-Grade covers).

With 10 successfully completed book projects, I understand the end-to-end publishing process, storyboarding, and tight deadlines. I am fully open for new commissions, full-book projects, and global collaborations for 2026-2027.

Let's connect and turn your manuscript into an unforgettable visual masterpiece!

Specialties: Character Design, Sequential Art, Double-Page Spreads, Diversity & Inclusion Themes, Traditional-Digital Hybrid Art.

Thanks

Tello :)
