Nur Ventura

I’m an illustrator and author from Barcelona. Although I studied graphic design and worked in that field for several years, my passion has always been illustration. After living in the UK for three years, I decided to pursue a postgraduate degree in illustration when I returned to Barcelona.

Since the beginning of my career, I’ve been interested in telling stories with women as protagonists and exploring themes of science and nature. Humor is fundamental in my work, and I believe it’s a powerful tool to help children learn.

I currently live near Barcelona with my wife, son, and a grumpy cat, while dreaming of moving to a small house in the countryside and having my own garden.

My illustrations for EUREK-HER! have been juried into the Society of illustrators 67 annual and exhibition.
