So after spending the last several months beavering away at a few commissions I decided to take a couple of days off and create some artwork for a competition that I'd seen online. The theme was cats, so I created this furry feline and his pigeon pal in a couple of fun illustrations. Then I read the entry rules and to my dismay I'd actually spent far too much time on the backgrounds as the rules stipulated that they had to be plain colours. Oh well! I'm really pleased with these and my plan is to create more of them... and who knows, I may even write a story that ties it all together!
