I’ve always been drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. My professional experience started 25+ years ago as Creative Director and Lead Artist of Sakura Software on the development of an educational video game.
After returning to Wales I then became as a freelance artist working on projects such as ‘You Can Start A Business’, commissioned by Chinese State TV. The show attracted audiences of 40 million viewers.
In 2006 I founded my own small (but feisty) animation studio, Planet Sunday. We started with one client based in Wales but our reputation for creating high quality work gained us clients from all over the world. We became best known for our music videos for ‘kindie’ artists such as The Hipwaders and the emmy-award winning Debbie & Friends. The Rompy Roo series that we produced for JumpSport was runner-up for Best App Series at Kidscreen the but we lost out to Nickelodeon’s Dora The Explorer.
I have experience in creating illustrations for children's books, character designs, animation and background art. As well as my sketchbook I currently use Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio and Procreate.
