Maya graduated from university with a degree in Illustration and has been professionally illustrating children’s books for over 10 years. Her graduation project, an AR (Augmented Reality) children’s book design, received the 2nd Place Prize at the IX International Forum Design Education organized by the Kharkiv State Design and Art Academy.

In 2019, Maya founded her own children’s publishing company and developed “OKKU,” an application focused on interactive and animated children’s books.

To date, she has illustrated 11 national and international children’s books and has also worked on comic book projects. Alongside her illustration career, Maya continues to develop her artistic practice and has been invited to exhibitions every year, including presenting her own solo exhibition.

In addition to publishing and illustration, she has designed three mobile games and served as their Art Director. Throughout her career, Maya has received 29 awards for her creative work.
