Marta Leonhardt

I grew up surrounded with art and music and drawing was my biggest interest since I can remember! I've worked as a professional illustrator and artist since 2011. I love working in traditional techniques such as watercolour and ink, but I also work in Photoshop and have no problem making digital changes. I have illustrated over twentyfive childrens' books, from picture books to middle grade chapter books. I also work with a range of projects from licencing to educational. I have developed an illustrated alphabet for schools, painted greeting cards for WWF, easter eggs and Christmas motifs for Hedlundgruppen, the covers for JRR Tolkien's works for a yiddish publisher and worked with several local theaters, musicians and festivals to name a few projects.

I live i Malmö, in the south of Sweden with my husband and two kids. In my freetime I like to read, do yoga and spend time in nature.
