Jemima Newberry

Hello! I'm Jemima, an Illustrator based in Somerset, UK. In 2017 I graduated from the University of Plymouth with a degree in Illustration. I work traditionally using gouache and coloured pencils creating a detailed style. I enjoy including lots of little details in my illustrations using the tiniest paint brushes I can find. 

Nature and the outdoors has been a big influence on my illustrations. I grew up in the countryside but I have also lived by the sea and in the mountains, these natural environments have helped me to find plenty of inspiration for new painting ideas. I also have a diverse range of interests and hobbies which is reflected through my illustrations.
