This illustration was a fun project focused on character design, composition, and color. I wanted each child to have a distinct personality through their expressions, poses, and animal costumes, while keeping the whole scene cohesive.

Since there are several characters in the composition, I paid attention to their placement and movement to keep the scene balanced without making it feel too static. The stepping stones help connect the characters, while the surrounding plants, lily pads, and water add depth to the environment.

I used bright colors and warm lighting to create a playful atmosphere, with small details throughout the scene to make it more interesting to explore. My favorite part was bringing all the characters together and making the setting feel like a world children could imagine themselves in.
