Ana Elisa Granziera

My name is Ana Elisa Granziera, and I am a Canadian-Brazilian illustrator, author and book designer based in Toronto. I have been illustrating for Brazilian publishers, magazines and independent authors since 2011, from picture books to educational, as well as cover art and book layout for adult novels, short stories and poetry books. My fourth book as an author and first children's book, "Thomas e o Dragão de Papel" (Thomas and the paper dragon) was published in Brazil, by Miolo Mole, in 2025. I prefer to work digitally nowadays, but always in a fun freehand style with a painterly feel, that I bring from my years of traditional painting. I am a late Gen-X mother of two teenagers, a great cook, an ultrarunner and I take my coffee very seriously.
