Alison Mutton

Hi!

I'm a children's illustrator from Perth, Western Australia. I mainly work digitally, and create illustrations in various styles to suit the variety of work and subject matter available Down Under, which is a versatility I can bring to your projects. I have worked extensively across both traditional and indie publishing, and enjoy working with clients to bring their vision to life. 

My published works include Crunch! Kaboom (Fremable Press), Clancy the Quokka (Allen & Unwin), Poopy Pants (Albert Street Books) and Friends to the Rescue (Apples & Honey Press). I have also illustrated over 40 books for indie publishers, and worked across a variety of commercial projects including topics such as electricity safety and brain trauma, as well as working in educational publishing. I'm also a book designer with an honours degree in design. 

In 2023 I won the SCBWI Spark Award for Best Picture Book for Little Dune, written by Lisa van der Wielen.
