Freya loves to conjure up humorous animal and monster characters, creating the most fantastical worlds for them to inhabit. Her portfolio has wonderfully broad appeal with its fantastic mix of picture book scenes sitting alongside classic chapter book illustrations for older children. Freya primarily works traditionally in pencil before adding colour digitally, she also works with pen and ink and watercolours. Upon graduating from Falmouth University, Freya won The Roald Dahl Funny Prize Award.
