Catherine Weyerhaeuser

Catherine lives on a lake in Minnesota. She has a BA in geology from Colgate University and a BS in elementary education from the University of Minnesota. She studied at the College of Visual Arts and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in the Twin Cities. Her art tends to be whimsical scenes and images imbedded with an obsession for pattern and design. The style is heavily influenced by American folk art and the composition and imagery is inspired by her travel.
