Magical worlds, warm characters and playful storytelling is at the heart of everything I make.

I'm Sara, a digital illustrator based in Sweden. I create art for books, animation, toys and games.

In my art I draw a lot of inspiration from comics, anime, movies and games. Especially japanese roleplaying games captured my imagination in my teens. The characters and storytelling is what really stayed with me.

Discovering tabletop roleplaying games in my twenties became my next passion in life, something I still dedicate a lot of my free time to. In these games I love exploring both grand narratives and intimate character moments. It continues to be a source of inspiration and often a catalyst for my personal artwork.

I have a lot of experience designing cute characters for stickers, cards, and apps, but I would also really like to work more with books, animation and storytelling in my work. Telling stories with expressive characters is where I thrive the most!
