Rachel is a visual storyteller. She combines artistry with analytics in order to communicate with the world.

Rachel has been working in design and illustration for almost 20 years.

As an illustrator, Rachel prefers to work traditionally with a mix of watercolor and graphite, sometimes adding colored pencil and marker. Rachel then uses her skills as a graphic designer to digitally capture, compile, clean-up and edit her illustrations.

Rachel is interested in illustrating picture books books and middle grade covers and interiors, magazines, and designing children’s products.

Rachel also has experience working in additional styles, such as the flat color vector illustration she used to illustrate Where Is Robin? Los Angeles by Robin Barone. Illustrations in other styles can be seen on the Pastiche Illustration section of her website.
