Nina Oak

I'm Nina Oak, an author and illustrator. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and it's definitely my favorite thing to do. I studied fashion design in Brazil, where I was born. I completed a postgraduate degree in Art Education. I worked as a fashion designer for a few years and taught drawing classes for several years at the Federal University of Ceará, in Brazil.

I opened a children's clothing studio when I fell in love with creating prints and illustrating children. I currently live in England and dedicate myself exclusively to children's illustration.

I love illustrating children and cute animals in nature scenes. I also enjoy creating fabric prints with nature themes.

I'm a nature lover and my illustrations reflect my enthusiasm for environmental preservation. My biggest motivation is to inspire and make children and adults smile through my stories. I believe that we can be part of the change we want to see in the world.
