This little side project I’m calling, 'From My Childhood Bookshelf'. I have all of my old kids books in all shapes and sizes. They are my inspiration to make some old "new" art for Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/lesharart/).  The first book is “Day At the Zoo” illustrated by “Lowe” and it was published by James & Jonathan, Inc. in 1964. It was one of my favorite books growing up and yet, young me, popped out the googly eyes and scribbled the empty circles with a black pen! Why?!?! Ah well, kids! :)
