Maxine Lee-Mackie

Working in children's book's since 2012, I'm a full-time freelance children's author/illustrator. My debut author/illustrator title Pi-Rat! was published by Little Tiger's Caterpillar imprint, and my latest author/illustrator titles are Dear Father Christmas and Dear Easter Bunny which were published by Ladybird.

My children's illustration clients include Simon & Schuster, Macmillan, Bonnier (Disney), Frances Lincoln, Walker, Hachette, WorldBook, Chicken House, Franklin Watts, Oxford University Press, and Usborne.

I have also worked on visual development illustrations for Warner Media.

I work right across the board from boards books and picture books to YA covers with my favourite themes being magic, paranormal, folklore, great outdoors, forests, snow, bugs, and general wildlife.
