‘Slow Mo’ is a story written and illustrated by Kirsty Oxley which is based on ‘The Hare and The Tortoise’ but set within a jungle and involving different animals; Mo the Sloth and Ayla the Ocelot. The Moral is that you can be more successful by going at your own pace slowly and steadily, rather than rushing and being careless. With this book I wanted to create a fun and engaging book with a fresh and modern take on the traditional fable.
