Julia Kerschbaumer

In her illustrations Julia Kerschbaumer reflects how she sees the world, what's important to her and what influenced her in life—so you will see a lot of animals, music, retro/vintage references and humour in her artwork.
While illustration is her primary business, she also works in the fields of graphic design, conception, art direction, hand lettering and creative writing. Those professions also influence her illustration style. She's been working several years as an art director for kids brands in the food sector. She has published a book about hand lettering at the German Magellan publishing house and did some hand lettering title artworks for several publishers in the German speaking area as well.

Julia is a proud mum of two kids, two cats and a horse. Together with her husband she manages business and family life in the lovely suburbs of Vienna, Austria. Her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, 3x3 Magazine, American Illustration, Lürzers Archive and Creative Quarterly.
