Illustration created for Adecar: The Legend of a Queen, a children’s book inspired by an African legend. Developed with a cinematic approach, the artwork combines expressive character acting, dramatic lighting, and atmospheric environments to support the emotional tone of the story. The visual direction draws inspiration from feature animation while maintaining the clarity and appeal required for children’s publishing.

The project follows Adecar, a courageous young girl whose journey of resilience, friendship, and hope unfolds through richly illustrated scenes designed to immerse young readers in her world.
