I am delighted to announce that two of my recent picture book projects have been shortlisted as Finalists for the prestigious 2025 Wishing Shelf Book Awards in the United Kingdom.
Being selected for such an internationally recognized award is a significant milestone, especially as I celebrate my 37th year as a professional children’s illustrator.
The nominated titles reflect the diversity of my current work:
"Monkey See, Monkey Do, Monkey Can Do It, Can You?" (Written by Harriet Cobb) – Finalist in the Pre-School category.
"Sidney's Games" (Written by Lolisa Marie Monroe) – Finalist in the 6-8 Years category.

What makes the Wishing Shelf Book Awards truly unique and rewarding is the judging process: the books are read and evaluated by children and teachers in schools across the UK. To know that my illustrations continue to resonate with young readers and educators after nearly four decades in this industry is the greatest honor I could receive.
