The Lunar New Year kicked in on February the 17th, bringing in the year of the Fire Horse! We leave behind the year of the Grass Snake, a year of shedding, wisdom and sensitivity. The Year of the Fire Horse gallops in with vibrant and fiery energy, symbolizing adventure, vitality, and momentum!

Here are some illustrations I created inspired by this! Imagining if the year of the Fire Horse was a children’s book! (I’m already thinking of a story! Meet Flicker and Flame!)

The Chinese Zodiac follows a 12-year cycle, with each year represented by a different animal. Which animal are you? I am the wood pig!
