April Hartmann continues to inspire young artists through her YouTube series, Art Lessons with The Dream Keepers. A year after its release, her Draw a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup lesson is still reaching kids who are eager to pick up a pencil and create something of their own.

Featuring April's original characters, Happy Thoughts and Hard Work, from her children's book The Dream Keepers, the lesson encourages kids to have fun, keep practicing, and discover what they can accomplish with a little creativity and perseverance.

It's a wonderful reminder that the artwork we create can continue inspiring others long after we've finished it. As illustrators, we have the opportunity to spark creativity in a new generation of artists—and sometimes all it takes is a pencil and a peanut butter cup!
