I was commissioned by the French nature-themed youth magazine Wakou to illustrate games focused on Australian wildlife and flora. I was specifically asked to draw a billabong, a natural wetland area.

I used a naturalistic style because, even though the target audience is young, it's also important to show them realistic depictions of nature.
