I am so excited to celebrate the launch of a new project, the first picture book for the Build a Book series for Yay4Play in Australia! 

Kito, The Bravest Kitten is the first in a series of three books, aimed at getting reluctant young readers engaged in reading. I am so proud of this work, the books were a true joy to work on, and its amazing to see they are getting wonderful reviews already too!

Each Build a Book box comes with a picture book and some building blocks. As children move through the story, they are encouraged to use different bricks to recreate the story for themselves.

Creating the characters was loads of fun, and what was even more special, was how the characters popped up in each other's stories, so I really got to delve into my characters.

As the books are for educational purposes I really got to utilise my educational publishing background, and make sure that I designed the covers and interior pages to be exciting, whilst also accessible for young readers.
