Inspired by the legendary Freddie Mercury from the band Queen, and an iconic photograph of him on stage, this illustration captures my inner child, little Tina, reenacting the same pose during an imaginary rock concert performed for her cat, holding a paintbrush as a mustache. Little Tina is a big fan of rock ’n’ roll music, energy, and stage performances. But above all, her identity is tied to visual arts, and she combines two of her greatest loves. She “wants to break free” from this rigid world through her spontaneity and creativity.
