Chase Currah

Hello there - My name is Chase, and I am an aspiring children's illustrator!

I am a transgender man from the UK and I specialise in digital illustration in which I have always had passion for since a young age. I strive to create a safe space for everyone with my work, showing light to communities that mean a lot to me e.g. the LGBTQ+ community. Whilst also making artwork of anything that inspires me.
In my academic career I have graduated De Montfort University with a first class BA(HONS) degree in Animation, during which I won 3 awards including ‘The Andrew Clay Prize for Best Final Project’ and my final animated short film was accepted to be shown at the ‘Prime The Animation! New Talent International Festival’
Last year I was the illustrator of the children’s book ‘The Dandelion Clock Written by Natalie Tindall, this book is awaiting publication.
I am currently one of the lead concept artists for the indie animated series ‘Escapades of Everfell’ a series that is due to be released to the public via YouTube.
