Alina Slyshik

Alina is a published illustrator from Slovakia proudly represented by Yeon Agency. She has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, which sometimes helps with her work. She loves drawing character-driven illustrations using fun color combinations and textures. Adobe Photoshop and Procreate are her best friends (Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator are just friends). She enjoys drawing children, animals, and whimsical creatures. Her favorite types of illustrations are those that shows lots of characters interacting with each other. 

 

Alina has worked on projects for Phoenix+, Phoenix Premiere, Cocobee, and Nagwa Readers. Her dream project is to illustrate a children’s detective book with extraordinary characters and an unexpected plot twist. 

 

She enjoys watching bizarre movies, reading books, and playing video games. In a parallel universe, she sees herself as a detective solving crimes or a marine biologist looking for undiscovered underwater creatures.
