Alberta Torres

I'm an Italian illustrator, based in London, UK.

I've worked as a motion graphics designer before turning to illustration, attending courses in Italy and London, including at Central Saint Martins and House of Illustration, and was awarded the Battello A Vapore Prize for Best Emerging Illustrator in 2013.

My debut picture book, I Love You as Big as a Rainbow was published with Tiger Tales in 2021. I am the illustrator of This Little...picture book series by Macmillan, and the WOW! board books series by Kumusha Books (HarperCollins). My next picture book, Dinosaur Playtime!, will be published in February 2026 with Kumusha Books.

I have published with several other publishers, magazines, and online outlets.

I am represented in the UK by Clare Wallace at Darley Anderson Illustration Agency.
