Mommy's phone

Mommy's Phone follows a little girl and her mother through their daily experiences with a smartphone. Readers learn that while Mommy’s phone does many wonderful things, there are also things that it can’t do. A phone can’t play hide and seek, or kiss you goodnight. There's no replacement for human interaction, everyday experiences, and love. In this children's story book, beautiful illustrations assist parents with teaching the role of technology in our lives in this modern, digital age.

We now live in an unprecedented time, with technology addictions affecting people of all ages. With kids frequently using devices younger and younger, it's important to provide a foundation for your child's development of healthy boundaries. Children should know how, when, and why to use mobile smartphones, tablets, and computers to access the internet, communicate with friends and family, and complete important tasks.

Designed for toddlers and young children. Author Amy Lu-Etienne is a tech industry expert and mother of two girls. She hopes to inspire families to set healthy boundaries on electronic device usage, spend more time reading books and playing games together, and most importantly, making a point to unplug.
