Mary Poppins 2020. Quarantine-inspired version of Mary Poppins.
I placed Mary Poppins in our days.
"We really like how you’ve used rainbows and the NSH workers to mix our current circumstances with the magical world of Mary Poppins we all know and love! Thank you for taking the time to send us a synopsis also, you have really thought about how to blend together the two aspects of the brief and your message of a simple thank you can give hope is a wonderful message to give to children during these uncertain times." These are tough times for Mr. Banks and his beloved children: Mr. Banks works long hours in the hospital and the little Banks are forced to stay at home.
Everyone begins to be afraid, doubtful and uncertain.
A helpful hand is coming again at the seventeen of Cherry Tree lane. It's bedtime and the East Wind is blowing through the trees outside the windows, carrying Mary Poppins into the life of this family.
No more boring days spent at home, looking out of the window or lazily laid down in front of a screen, waiting for the day to pass and dad coming home. No more school only, serious things and rules getting more and more restrictive.
From tonight, Mary Poppins is in charge.
A gust of fresh air enters: every day at home becomes a great Adventure. Everyone will discover that the little things in everyday life are important and can be magical. Everyone will learn that even a simple “thank you” or a smile can give hope.
The Banks family go back to believing that after hard times, everything will be fine again.
