Recently I had the honour of illustrating Lindsey Boone's debut picture book, The Otter Side. The adorable and meaningful story follows two adventurous otters determined to bridge the gap between their divided communities. Through courage, friendship and the magic of mud castles, they learn to appreciate "The Otter Side". It was so much fun to create the forest world these critters live in, and to add cute little character details to differentiate the many, many otters from each other.
