Last week I took part in the Folktale Week Challenge on Instagram. I posted an image for each of the 7 prompts- Home, Secret, Path, Smoke, Darkness, Key, Crown. I struggled for a bit to think what to do and how to do it but eventually I settled to write and illustrate a story. It was lots of fun and a good challenge. I would still probably go back and amend some things I feel could improve but for now I’m happy to show what was done over the week. Here is the first page of the story. I will post other pages in due course.
