Working with the wonderful Scholastic Canada team, and author Karen Autio, for the second story about these two friends was a delight! Playdate Surprise continues to follow kindergarten besties Kayla and Piper. From the publisher:

It was so much fun expanding Kayla and Piper's world into their homes - and exploring what is different at each girl's home (Kayla's is adapted to someone who uses a wheelchair, while Piper's could use some modifications) and what is the same: both homes have a cute pup who loves doing tricks!
