Outdoor Explorers is a seek-and-find puzzle I created for High Five, a Highlights Magazine for kids ages 3 to 5.

The creative process always starts on paper with some rough sketches!
At this stage, I'm more interested in seeing how the characters move inside the composition than in defining the details.
Once the sketch is refined, it comes the most fun part: choosing the color palette!
