Life in lockdown
Spending time at home during this current situation with COVID-19 is difficult in so many ways for all of us. I have so much admiration and thanks to all those key workers operating on the frontline to keep the health service going, and to keep us all safe. It has prompted so many people to be creative and caring, and it has been so heartwarming to see the images of rainbows in the windows of people's homes here in the UK. With a 4 year old daughter it has been difficult to explain why she couldn't have friends and family around for her birthday, but like so may of us we found a way to celebrate nonetheless. This prompted me to develop a children's story to help explain to her what is happening and that life in lockdown isn't so bad. I hope others can benefit form this too when it gets published. The intention is that all profits will go to the NHS, to help support the battle against the virus. Stay safe.
