David Moore is Having Fun with #Kidlitart

Whether he's packing the car for a fun-filled family road trip, setting the scene for an anthropomorphic construction site, bringing the Canadian folklore story of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe making friends with a birdie while doing some superhuman forest tending, setting up Hansel and Gretl to find the spooky house in the center of the eerie forest, or showcasing the friendship of Bear and Fox sleighriding, illustrator David Moore knows how to set the stage and make the visuals come to life while storytelling. Every detail included adds to the WOW factor and helps tell the humorous tales for children of all ages. Playing with light, color, and subtle hits of hysterical humor, Moore is a natural go to for children's picture books of all kinds.

Art has always been a big part of David's life. He grew up with pencils in hand, and has not stopped drawing yet. As an award -winning freelance illustrator, he has been greatly influenced by the retro poster styles of the 1930's and 40's. He has some modern influences too, making his work truly unique, dynamic, and visually stimulating.
