Picture book A CROCODILE IN THE FAMILY has been selected by the Department of Education in Victoria, Australia, to be included in a new program called Books in Prep Bags for 2025! Every student across Victoria, AU will recieve a copy.

Written by Kittly Black, and illustrated by Daron Parton, this charming picture book is about a family of birds who take home an egg, and even though a crocodile hatches from the egg and looks nothing like them, they welcome him to their family. We all could use a sweet message about acceptance.  This book is a terrific bedtime read for kids 3+, and those who read to them. 

Kudos to all the kids, and of course, to Daron Parton for his great illustration work.
