Working with Common Deer Press, illustrator Dharmali Patel has been illustrating this series.
The TD Summer Reading Club is "Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. " Co-created and delivered by more than two thousand public libraries across the country, the program is free and celebrates Canadian stories as well as their authors and illustrators.
Asha and Baz Meet Mary Sherman Morgan is an early reader chapter book that highlights the accomplishments of scientist Mary Sherman Morgan and encourages young readers to take an interest in STEM. Be on the lookout for more to follow.

Another book recently illustrated by Dharmali is The Boy and The Banyan Tree. In this beautiful book, in a small village, a little boy loves a very old banyan tree and asks her to give him the things he desires. But the banyan tree knows that granting wishes is not the answer, and that gaining skills is a greater gift, so she encourages him to learn how to do things for himself.
