Jeanine recently had the opportunity to capture likenesses for an entire alphabet of inspirational figures in a fun picture book entitled "ABC Jewish Heroes and Me," published October 2026 by Apples & Honey Press.

This preschool-age non-fiction book features illustrated portraits of 26 amazing Jewish figures—including activists, scientists, athletes, artists, politicians, and musicians—paired with alliterative one-line biographies by authors Deborah Bodin Cohen and Kerry Olitzky.

A diverse range of influential historical and contemporary figures are included, from Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Albert Einstein, Bob Dylan, and Jonas Salk to Steven Spielberg, Emma Lazarus, Levi Strauss, and more.

Times like these call us to look to inspirational heroes who have led the way through challenges and impacted our society for good, leaving the world a better place. This great little book encourages even the youngest readers to imagine how they might make a much-needed difference in the world someday too.
