Created for the Chen Bochui International Childrens Literature Award's Original Illustration Exhibition in China.

The second piece in 'Fairies of the Full Moon', a series of artworks inspired by the different types of full moons that come with each month of the year and the magical fairies that appear during these full moons. These are the Sturgeon Moon Fairies that appear in August, a time where the lakes and rivers are abundent with these beautiful fish. The Sturgeon Moon Fairies call upon the sturgeons, and they leap out the water into the sky.
