On Halloween 1992, "The Boo Baby Girl Meets the Ghost of Mable's Gable" was released to the delight of young audiences everywhere. As my first picture book commission, it was a real honor to work with veteran storyteller Jim May creating the images for his classic tale, in which a fearless toddler confronts a scary ghost and comes home with a golden treasure.

Amazingly, this title has gone through multiple editions and I continue to meet enthustastic new fans of this book every year. Many thanks to Brotherstone Publishers for giving me my first break in book publishing, and Parkhurst Brothers for keeping this great story available for future generations of story lovers.
