Expressing myself through art has always been a necessity for me. I have always needed to restore balance to my life by creating beauty in my surroundings.

My role as a children's book illustrator is to understand the essence of the projects and communicate it in images to create a powerful connection between readers and the book. I think about how I can clearly communicate an idea, what mood I want to set for the scene, what details I want to include to encourage readers to explore the image. I want them to feel engaged, intrigued and I ponder the emotion I want them to have.

I like to use the rich creamy texture of gouache as well as playing with geometric flat shapes. For me, creating images is like cleaning up a scene from life. It is keeping only the most beautiful, the essential and transforming it into a more pleasant, softer, simpler and more colorful version. It's about organizing shapes and colors on the page so that the final layout brings a sense of calm to the viewer. I like people to take comfort in my images for a brief moment.

I studied Fine Arts at Champlain College in Lennoxville and Graphic Design at Laval University in Quebec City. I also took many online courses on different educational platforms. I officially started working for clients in the illustration field in 2021.

Among my career goals, I would love to publish my own concept book series for young children (0 to 5 years old) and working for toy and children's clothing brands around the world.
