Romi Caron
I was born in the Czech Republic and studied art for four years at a High School of Fine Arts. I then pursued my studies at the Prague University of Fine Arts for five years.
Later, in Canada, I worked for a few years as a cartoon animator and as an advertisement illustrator. I then became a professional children’s books illustrator, commercial illustrator and photographer. I currently have two monthly articles being published in the province of Quebec in a magazine called “Enfants”: « Brico-folies avec Romi » and « Je cuisine avec Romi ».
I am proud to say that I have so far illustrated more than 40 books for children and that some of them have won prizes.
I have published a series of books based on my art lessons under the titles: « Je dessine avec Romi », « Je peins avec Romi » , « Je peins l'histoire avec Romi » and « Je cuisine avec Romi ».
