natacha ledwidge
Natacha Ledwidge has been with the Organisation since it started (20
years ago!) and is one of their most established illustrators,
she lives in London. Natacha's drawings are known for her elegant and
subtle line work and also for her gentle humour.
After graduating in Graphics and Illustration at Chelsea school of
Art she became Art Editor and in house illustrator at Harpers & Queen
Magazine, this was during it's hey day in the 80's, she did the
drawings for "The Sloane Ranger Handbook" while she was there.
After 5 years she went freelance as an Illustrator but continued drawing
for Harpers as well as for many magazines including;
Vogue, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, She, House and Garden,
Brides, The Spectator and The Royal Society of Literature Magazine.
She was also commissioned to draw the cover of ' European
Illustration, the 11th Annual' by Carroll & Dempsey for Edward Booth
Clibborn
Natacha's other clients include: American Express, Citroen, Marks &
Spencer, Oil of Ulay, Sothebys , The Chelsea Arts Club, Tetleys tea,
British gas, Sainsburys, Penguin books, Pan books, Heinemann, The
Telegraph, The Financial Times.
She has been commissioned by The Folio Society to illustrate many
books including the boxed set of Dorothy Sayers Novels and The Alice
B Toklas Cook book. Other books include 'Coco Chanel her life and
loves', Natacha's versatility means she has illustrated books for
adults and also for children.
Natacha divides her time between illustration and her own painting work.
