Mark Chambers
Mark has been illustrating since 2003 following an Illustration degree at the University of Lincoln,Lincoln school of Art and Design. After graduating he was selected for an exhibition at the Kensington Institute,London for the D&AD design awards. His work received praise from various sources,public and professional including a lead from Bloomsbury. There he was spotted by an Agent for the Bright Agency who he has been with ever since.
He has had a number of projects published in the UK and abroad. Clients he has worked for include Random-House, Egmont, Simon & Schuster and Oxford University Press. He has just had a commission for his first picture with award winning publishers Templar.
Mark likes to work in all areas of his craft, but he particularly likes illustrating children’s books and is currently writing and illustrating stories of his own.
He lives in Lincoln and works from his studio at the nearby Creative Industries building.
