Jennifer Thermes
Jennifer Thermes is a children's book author and illustrator. Her second book, Sam Bennett’s New Shoes, was named a Bank Street College Best Children’s Book for 2007. The story was inspired by finding a very old boot and shoe in her 1720’s house while doing renovations. She also works as a freelance illustrator, creating whimsical maps for publishers, magazines, and various other clients. Jennifer is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Jennifer lives in an old farmhouse in Connecticut with her husband and children, three cats, one crazy Dalmatian dog, and countless mice.
