Isa Zapata
Isa Zapata- Visual Artist
Isa's art focuses on imaginative artwork that inspires and sparks for children
of all ages. Her vivid characters are encompassed in a fantasy world, which
are drawn from the personalities, people and everyday life
situations she encounters. Isa's main goal is to provide positive and awe-
inspiring artwork for the
child in all of us.
Locally, she has cultivated her talent at the Miami Children's Museum as part
of the museum's Artist in Residence Program. Her artwork has been donated
to the museum's gala and silent auction and to other charitable events
throughout the community. In the corporate world, Isa's designs have been
licensed for retail sales at the Miami Metro Zoo, L.A Zoo, San Francisco Zoo
and many more.
Her artwork has been showcased in private shows and as part of charity
donations worldwide in places such as the Grand Bay Club, Key Biscayne,
Florida (2002) ; Art donated to Fundacion de Niños con Cancer de Venezuela
(2002); Group show Citibank Coral Gables (2003); Individual exhibition Miami
Children's Museum October 1st (2003); NYCHHC, Hispanic Heritage month
(2003), New York, In 2004 ,her art was exhibited at D'COTA (Design Center of
the Americas) in an important auction for Broward Care for Kids
Foundation and she is a permanent exhibit artist at Kapz Artmosphere
located in Coral Gables, Florida.
